In July 2006, seventeen All Saints Youth members attended the ELCA National Youth Gathering in San Antonio, Texas. Also in attendence were 19,000 other Lutheran youth members from all over the United States. All Saints youth members raised the money for the trip through various fundraisers, including a Parking Lot sale, Candle Sales, Snow Cone concessions, and a combined effort with Celebration Lutheran Church for six showings of Uncle Phil's Diner, a dinner theater. The theme of the 2006 Youth Gathering, Cruzando: Journey with Jesus, was both challenging and inviting. In the community of the Gathering, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, youth experienced a strengthening of faith that gave them hope, courage, and a new spirit to steer through life rather than navigating around it or abandoning it altogether.
