• May 2-4:  The 9^th graders will be going to Chapel Rock in Prescott for a Retreat.
• May 4:  The YO-Board (and everyone who would like to attend) will be having a Meeting at the Wennersten’s at 7pm.
• May 15:  The 9^th graders and their parents will be attending a Rite of Confirmation Rehearsal at 6:30pm.
• May 18:  Rite of Confirmation Sunday at 10:45am.
• May 25-30:  Campfirmation at United Christian Youth Camp in Prescott. 

A special thank you goes out to Carol Lee who created this fantastic cookbook, to the Culinary team who have sponsored the costs involved in the production, and to all who gladly submitted their recipes.

Every year we receive a special offering for Camp Scholarships, and this year it will take place on Sunday, May 18, which is also Rite of Confirmation Sunday.  The special offering received helps to defray the costs of lock-ins, retreats, camps and conferences for children, youth and adults who are not able to financially afford to partake in these opportunities otherwise.  It is our goal that everyone who wants to participate, grow in faith, knowledge and relationships will not be denied those opportunities here at All Saints because of costs.  Please mark this special date on your calendar and consider giving a gift to this important ministry.

First of all, I would love to thank everyone who donated money to our Relay for Life efforts. So many people are going to benefit from the research and the support that American Cancer Society provides for through your funding. This year was a great success!

As the school year comes to a close at the end of May, youth events are not slowing down by any means. We’ll start selling snow cones for those hot summer Sundays between services which will go to help fund our next ELCA Youth Gathering. The 9^th graders will go on their last retreat before they become confirmed members of the church. Congratulations to all of them.

The YO-End of the Year Pool Party is going to be held at Doug Zismann’s house this year on May 17^th. It’s a special time to invite all the 9^th graders and a celebration for the last event for the seniors. We encourage all YO to attend and have some fun at the pool and spend fellowship with other High School youth. We’re hoping to make this an exciting event, so be sure to be there and feel free to bring a friend.

Keep posted on this summer’s events because we’re planning some fun, youth building events, so you can’t be bored at home this summer! There will be Water World and pool side Bible studies just to give you a sneak peek!
